The Deets

Last night I surprised David with a date to the Circus. 

Only giving him two clues; "Latino" and "We've both done this but never together" he had it on his mind all week at work but couldn't work out what it was.

As we drove to Caroline Springs I distracted him from the signs along the side of the road so he didn't know what we were doing until he saw the big top itself.

We checked in, found some good end seats in the second row and enjoyed the show.

The contortionists were by far the highlight acts.

But the fire twirling was pretty epic too.

Last Thoughts/ Recommendations

Melissa - It was a beautiful summery night with the smell of popcorn and sweet fairy floss and a cool breeze coming through the tent. David and I sat pretty snug on the end seats avoiding making eye contact with the clown all night so he wouldn't get us up on stage between acts. I really enjoyed JoJo the clown and would recommend this date. Don't pay the big bucks though, it wasn't worth $40. Opt for the cheaper ticket.

David - The contortionists and the dancers were my favorite. I'd recommend this for couples with little kids or people seeking light entertainment but like Mel said, don't pay the big bucks, grab a cheaper ticket.
