The Deets
Today we went to Melbourne’s very first Brazil Fest which basically turned into a Brazil Feast!
There is definitely room for improvement being their first festival but it was a good vibe with people in and out all day.
They offered a range of Brazilian beer with a beer garden as well as around 6 food trucks of delicious cultural flavours.
What was missing though was colour!
I was excited to see carnival style costumes and dancers but enjoyed drumming, Maracas, go-go bells and whistles.

Melissa - Overall it was a pretty cool date, the food was delicious and being at the Queen Victoria Market, the biggest market in our state, I took the opportunity to buy a new pair of sunglasses.
David - I would have liked to have seen more. There were Brazilian music and flags but no wow factor. There is a lot to improve on. I would go next year to see its improvements if any.. and to try their mango lemonade.
