The Deets

Today we had dinner at one of our all time favourite restaurants which is literally just down the road from where we live. 

What’s more is that the owners of Back to Bacchus literally live between us and the restaurant and to go there we pass their house. 

Tonight I tried something new and ordered the Thai Beef and OMG! It was absolutely delicious 🤤 

Because we also ordered garlic bread I was too full to eat it all so I bought half of it home for my daughter Nevaeh whom also said it was super yummy!

Melissa - We love it here, we will definitely be back! 

David - The steak was medium rare, just how I like it and with big portions I can never eat it all. Great value for money and always a good atmosphere.

Saturday night was a warm night so David and I decided to have fish and chips by the water in Geelong. 

David opted for flake and potato cakes while I ordered fish bites and two dim sims. 

There were a lot of people whom had the same idea as us being that it was the first warm night in a while but we didn’t have to wait too long.

Melissa - A yummy dinner with a beautiful view. The sea breeze straight off the water on a warm night. Perfect for a first second or in our case, 24th date! 

David - It was nice, the food was fresh the view was good, right on the water. Would recommend this place!

The Deets

On Saturday we saw performances by Tommy Little, Arj Barker, Emo Majok, John Burgos with our MC for the night being.. Matt Elsbury! 

Using our Gold pass, David booked our tickets on the app while on a break at work last week and planned our whole night. 

Afterwards we went to play the pokies at Melton Entertainment Center and have a few more beverages before heading home.

With both of us not tired we scrolled our “to-watch” list on Netflix and ended up watching “Greenland” until early hours of the morning. 

It was the latest night we’ve had in a long time.

Last Thoughts/ Recommendations

Melissa - I love it when David plans our little date nights. It feels so special with him paying and loving on me all night. The performances were great by everyone and I had a good laugh! Highly recommend this place as a date to get to know if someone shares the same humour as you! 

David - It was one of the better ones we have been to! I wasn’t expecting to see Tommy Little and Arj Barker. They were great. Would recommend and will be getting our new gold pass next month.
